I recently walked up to school to pick up my little boy on the last day of term. I walked across the village common and realised how much I have to be thankful for.
It was a beautiful spring day and I crossed the road from my little cottage in the heart of the Chilterns seeing rabbits scattering, their white cotton tails bobbing out of sight. The primroses were in bloom and the blossom was on the trees. All about me the birds sang. It doesn’t get much better than that.
I am thankful for my home, my husband, my son, my family and friends. I am blessed.
